According to the appeal, at the beginning of 2026, the new Jogorku Kenesh began its work, which opens new prospects for analyzing the changes that have occurred in the country over the past years. During the period from 2021 to 2025, the authors of the appeal believe that Kyrgyzstan has made significant progress.

Firstly, the new leadership of the country has ensured stability, order, and legality.

Secondly, over the past five years, the Kyrgyz army has significantly strengthened, allowing it to reliably protect state interests.

Thirdly, contentious issues regarding borders with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have been successfully resolved.

Fourthly, the fight against corruption has yielded results: if before 2020 only 200 million soms were received in the budget, in the last five years this figure has increased to 352 billion soms.

Fifthly, organized crime, which previously influenced the appointment of authorities, has been reduced.

Sixthly, during the specified period, new schools, roads, and cultural facilities have been built, indicating social improvements.

Nevertheless, there are serious problems that hinder the country's development:

Firstly, the growing national debt, which is approaching 9 billion dollars, raises concerns, especially against the backdrop of profits from the development of “Kumtor” amounting to 5 billion dollars over the past five years.

Secondly, rising prices for consumer goods and services are leading to the impoverishment of the population — about two million people live in poverty, of which one million are children.

Thirdly, the predominance of the trade and services sector in the structure of gross product, while industry remains at less than 10 percent.

Fourthly, the ongoing outflow of youth abroad in search of better living and working conditions negatively affects the country.

A general analysis of achievements and problems leads to the conclusion that the first stage of the current leadership's work has been completed. Therefore, Kyrgyzstan needs to move on to the second stage with new initiatives and qualitative development.

Issues related to the presidential elections are actively discussed in society, concerning two constitutional norms: the old Constitution, under which the current president was elected, and the new one, adopted in a referendum in April 2021. The fundamental law clearly states the presidential term is 5 years, but there are disagreements among lawyers and politicians regarding possible early elections.

Dear Sadyr Nurgoyevich!

Dear Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu!

Considering the aforementioned challenges and discussions surrounding the elections, we urge you to initiate new presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan. This will help avoid further disputes and uncertainty.

We are confident that a new president, who has the trust of the people and possesses a quality development program, will be able to effectively address existing problems and lead the country to prosperity.

With hope for your prompt decision regarding our appeal:
