In 2025, the Ministry of Transport imposed fines totaling 1.17 billion soms
For comparison, in 2024, this figure was 398 million 886 thousand soms.
Throughout 2025, 222 thousand 20 permits were issued from 41 countries.
The Ministry reports that a digital E-permit system has been implemented between Kyrgyzstan and countries such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and China, ensuring electronic exchange of permits for international freight transportation. The entire process is now conducted online.
In addition, a system for the electronic issuance of special permits for the transportation of oversized and heavy cargo has been launched. Both domestic and foreign carriers can now submit applications via mobile devices and receive permits electronically within 1–3 hours.
