At the same time, the share of mineral extraction was 9.2%, while the sector related to the supply of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning accounted for 10.2%. The water supply, waste treatment, and secondary raw materials production sector made up 0.9%.
In 2025, the production volume in the mineral extraction sector amounted to 73 billion 355.8 million soms, corresponding to a physical volume index of 114.2% compared to 2024. In December, the extraction volume was 8 billion 020.2 million soms, with a physical volume index reaching 104.1%.
The growth in extraction was driven by an increase in volumes:
- other minerals – by 40.2%,
- metal ores – by 21.6%,
- coal – by 10.3%.
However, the production volumes of crude oil and natural gas decreased by 12.1% in 2025.
