The meeting between Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, and Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE, took place recently.
During the discussion, Kasymaliev reminded about the memorandum signed in April last year, which provides for mutual recognition of driver’s licenses. This agreement has significantly simplified life for citizens of both countries and contributed to strengthening bilateral relations.

The participants of the meeting also noted the successful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE in the field of security, including joint efforts to combat transnational organized crime and digital offenses.

The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in studying the UAE's best practices in the digitalization of law enforcement agencies and the implementation of modern crime monitoring and prevention systems.

In addition, Kasymaliev proposed to discuss the possibility of introducing a visa-free regime for Kyrgyz citizens to facilitate travel to the UAE.

In response, Al Nahyan emphasized that there are close relations between the leaders of the two countries, and the UAE considers Kyrgyzstan a friendly state. He promised to instruct his team to study the issue of a visa-free regime and send security experts to Kyrgyzstan for experience exchange.
