During customs control, it was established that according to the international standard ISO and the decision of the EEC No. 74, the tenth character of the VIN number ("M") indicates that the vehicle was manufactured in 2021. However, according to the conclusion of the Forensic Expert Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, the actual production date of this vehicle is 2015. As a result of this inaccurate declaration, the state suffered damage amounting to 2,484,898 soms.
This incident was recorded in the Unified Register of Crimes, and the case materials were sent to the Investigation Department of the State Customs Service for further legal analysis. As a result of the conducted activities, 2,484,898 soms were recovered from the republican budget.
