- Over the past five years, the republic has paved more than 3,600 kilometers of roads. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The statistics on asphalt laying by year are as follows:

175 km — 2021;

488.4 km — 2022;

673.8 km — 2023;

802 km — 2024;

1545 km — 2025.

The Ministry noted that such successes in asphalt laying became possible due to the acquisition of 750 units of special equipment. The purchase was made from 2022 to 2024 using funds from the republican budget and was the first of its kind in the entire history of independence.

Among the new equipment are bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks, bitumen tankers, and motor graders.
