The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported which cities are monitoring air quality
At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on agricultural issues, water resources, ecology, and environmental protection, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Ernest Jusupov reported on the current monitoring of air quality in the country. He noted that "Kyrgyzhydromet" conducts observations in several cities, including Bishkek, Osh, Kara-Balta, Tokmok, and Cholpon-Ata.
In these locations, 14 stationary posts and one automated station operate, allowing for effective tracking of atmospheric air quality.
Additionally, in Bishkek and the districts of Alamedin and Issyk-Ata, 50 automated sensors have been installed to record pollution data. According to monitoring information, in some days, the average daily norms of pollutants were exceeded up to 12 times.
