Recently, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, held a meeting to summarize the government's work.
The event was attended by heads of various structural divisions of the presidential administration, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, and authorized representatives of the president in the regions.
One of the key issues of the meeting was the discussion of the draft Law on Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Electric Power Industry." The main task of this draft law is to promote the development of renewable energy sources, which includes increasing the maximum capacity of facilities operating on such sources from 30 to 50 MW. This step is aimed at attracting larger investors. Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev presented the project, which was supported by the meeting participants.
Also discussed at the meeting were the results of the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers' action plan for 2025. The Head of the Political and Economic Research Department of the Presidential Administration, Nurbek Tashbekov, presented the relevant report.
The activities of ministries, state agencies, and the mayors of Bishkek and Osh were discussed in the context of fulfilling the tasks set by the Cabinet of Ministers. Along with positive results, disciplinary measures will be taken against some heads of departments.
Kasymaliev emphasized that the Cabinet of Ministers approved a methodology for assessing the implementation of the Action Plan, which is applied annually. This year, the methodology was successfully implemented.
“We observe many positive results; however, there are also disruptions caused by both objective and subjective factors. Our task is not only to assess the work of state bodies but also to ensure the implementation of the National Development Program of the country at a high level through the fulfillment of the Cabinet of Ministers' action plan. Only with strong executive discipline can we accelerate socio-economic development and improve the well-being of our people,” noted Adylbek Kasymaliev.
As part of the implementation of the action plan for 2025, many significant events have been held. The assessment of the work of state structures was based on 292 events. Monitoring and analysis of the progress of activities in sectors such as industry, agro-industrial complex, transport, energy, digitalization, investments, construction, and social sphere were conducted.
