Speaking at the ceremony, the president emphasized the importance of caring for the health of employees who play a key role in ensuring national security. He congratulated all those present on the opening of the new institution and reminded them of the long history of the Military Medical Service, which began in the early years of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood. In the 1920s, medical units operated under challenging conditions.

The Military Medical Service was officially established as an independent structure in 1951, when staffing units were approved and personnel were appointed for medical institutions.

The president noted that since its inception, the Military Medical Service and other units of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) have always placed professionalism and responsibility among their main values. The construction of the new medical complex became possible thanks to the initiative of the chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev.

The total area of the new building is about 15,000 square meters. It includes a military outpatient clinic with an operating block, a resuscitation unit, and a rehabilitation department, as well as a military hospital providing specialized and inpatient care, including cardiology and general surgery departments.

The complex is equipped with advanced medical equipment, digital technologies, and high-tech surgery, which will significantly improve the quality of medical services and reduce treatment times.

Sadyr Japarov also added that the Military Medical Service will serve not only GKNB employees but also servicemen of the Border Service, veterans, retirees and their families, as well as employees of the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, which will help relieve pressure on other medical institutions.

The president assured that the state will continue to pay attention to improving the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies. He expressed confidence that the modernization of the Military Medical Service will allow personnel to perform their duties in ensuring security more effectively, which, in turn, will strengthen public trust in state institutions.

At the end of his visit, Sadyr Japarov inspected the offices equipped with modern equipment, including magnetic resonance and computed tomography scanners, ultrasound diagnostic and echocardiography devices, as well as wards, a conference room, a cafeteria, and a gym.
