During the meeting of the board of the State Customs Service, dedicated to the results of the agency's work for 2025, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the chairman of the cabinet of ministers and head of the presidential administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated.
He emphasized that the revenues of the State Customs Service increased from 28 billion soms in 2020 to 157.4 billion soms in 2025, which means almost a sixfold increase. Kasymaliev also noted that these achievements were made possible by the implementation of the digital platform "Smart Baji".
"Without timely digitalization of the customs system, we would have faced serious problems," he added.
During his speech, the head of government noted that customs revenues account for more than 25% of the republican budget's income, and the burden on customs workers has significantly increased in recent years.

"If in 2021, 113 thousand declarations were processed, then in 2025 this figure exceeded 873 thousand. This growth, achieved without increasing the number of employees, was made possible by automation, digitization of processes, and reducing the influence of the human factor. The introduction of analytical methods and risk management in law enforcement agencies has allowed for more effective detection of violations of customs legislation," he noted.
Summarizing the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev gave a number of instructions to the State Customs Service, including ensuring the fulfillment of projected indicators for customs payments in the amount of 142.6 billion soms for 2026 and the implementation of tasks outlined in the action plan for the development concept of the customs service of Kyrgyzstan for 2026-2030.
