The processing of fruits and vegetables in the Kyrgyz Republic increased to 2.24 billion soms by the end of 2025.

- Data from official statistics show that in 2025, the processing and canning of vegetables and fruits in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 2 billion 240.45 million soms. This figure represents a significant increase compared to 2024, when the production volume was 1 billion 306.35 million soms, indicating a growth of almost 1.7 times. The physical volume index for the period from January to December 2025 reached 104.8%, which indicates a moderate increase in production in real terms.

However, a monthly breakdown shows a decline. In December 2025, the volume of processing and canning amounted to 133.83 million soms, while in December 2024, this figure was at the level of 105.31 million soms. The physical volume index in December 2025 was 56.6%, indicating a significant reduction in production compared to the previous month.

Thus, although the vegetable and fruit processing sector shows significant growth on an annual basis, unstable trends are observed at the end of the year, which may be related to seasonal factors, logistics constraints, and a decrease in the raw material base.
