During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov raised a relevant issue concerning migrants.
He noted that he has received numerous appeals from citizens working in Russia.
“Migrants report violations of their rights and the problems they face. Additionally, tailors from our country express dissatisfaction regarding the delays of their cargo at the border with Russia, which prevents their goods from passing,” he said. The deputy proposed to organize an official visit to Moscow together with State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin and Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko to discuss these issues.
Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, in turn, reported that he has already received an invitation from Valentina Matviyenko and Vyacheslav Volodin for an official visit.
“We plan to go there in the third decade of March this year, where we will discuss the issues that have arisen,” he added.
