According to media reports, former deputy Shailoobek Atazov has been released under a travel ban.
It is specified that he was detained in the fall of 2025 on suspicion of organizing mass riots.
Syimyk Japykeev also reported the release from custody of Kubanychbek Kadyrov, another former parliamentarian.
Recall that on November 22, 2025, there were numerous arrests when the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the dismantling of a destructive group preparing for unrest after the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh. As a result of the arrests, not only political figures and former deputies were taken into custody, but also the son of former president Almazbek Atambaev. In total, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the arrest of 10 individuals, all of whom were detained by court order:
- Temirlan Sultanbekov;
- Shailoobek Atazov (former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh);
- Ermek Ermatov (according to some reports, he is the driver of Temirlan Sultanbekov);
- Damir Musakeev (former head of the Ninth Service of the GKNB and deputy chairman of the special services responsible for the security of former president Almazbek Atambaev);
- Kadyr Atambaev (son of Almazbek Atambaev);
- Urmati Askarbekov (businessman Urmat Baryktabasov);
- Kubanychbek Kadyrov (former parliament deputy);
- A. u. E., born in 1993;
- K.N., born in 1993;
- Sh.T., born in 1986.
They are charged under Articles 36 "Preparation for a Crime," 41 "Types of Accomplices," 278 "Organization of Mass Riots," and 326 "Violent Seizure of Power" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
