The transfer of 37 units of special equipment to the Ministry of Energy took place in Kyrgyzstan. The keys to the new vehicles were handed over by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration. This was reported in a statement from the Cabinet.

The equipment was purchased as part of the capital construction and modernization plan for the facilities of OJSC "Kyrgyzstan National Electric Network." Specifically, the delivery included 17 JAC-T8 crew vehicles, 8 SHANMON-388H backhoe loaders, as well as 2 45-meter lift platforms based on KAMAZ-43118 and 10 JAC-N56 crew vehicles, which corresponds to the project "Modernization and Sustainable Development of the Energy Sector."

The total cost of this package of equipment amounted to 145.8 million soms.

During the ceremonial event, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the development of the energy sector remains an important direction of state policy. He also noted that significant construction works are being carried out and large projects are being implemented in the energy sector on the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov.

“The energy sector of Kyrgyzstan continues to develop and strengthen, with the modernization of hydropower plants and the replacement of outdated equipment. I am confident that these positive changes will continue, and the new equipment will serve for the benefit of the people and the state,” he said.

It is worth noting that in 2025, over 160 units of special vehicles were purchased for the needs of the energy and coal industries.
