Energy workers received new special equipment worth 145.8 million soms

As part of the modernization of the energy sector, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev handed over the keys to a new batch of special vehicles to the Ministry of Energy.

According to information from the ministry, within the framework of the capital construction and equipment renewal program of OJSC "NESC," 17 JAC-T8 crew vehicles and 8 SHANMON-388H backhoe loaders were purchased. Additionally, two 45-meter boom lifts based on KamAZ-43118 and 10 JAC-N56 crew vehicles were acquired as part of the "Modernization and Sustainable Development of the Energy Sector" project.
In total, 37 units of specialized equipment worth 145.8 million soms were handed over to the energy sector.
Kasymaliev emphasized that the development of the energy sector is one of the main priorities of the government. He noted that under the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov, large-scale construction projects are underway in the country, the capacities of hydropower plants are being modernized, units are being updated, and the lifespan of energy facilities is being extended.




“Every year, the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan becomes stronger. In recent years, many units of specialized equipment have been purchased. Today we are handing over a new batch, and may it serve for the benefit of the country and its citizens,” noted the head of the cabinet.

It is also reported that in 2025 alone, more than 160 units of specialized equipment were purchased for the energy and coal sectors.
