Umetaliev noted that the program focuses on supporting artisans and the sewing industry, as well as manufacturing enterprises in the fields of machinery and equipment, chemical industry, metalworking, and computer technology development. The program is also aimed at supporting innovative startups and new entrepreneurs. It is important to emphasize that agriculture will not be funded under this initiative, as separate government programs are provided for it.
Particular attention will be paid to women's entrepreneurship: 30% of all allocated funds will be directed to projects implemented by women. Support for startups is also planned, with the possibility of financing up to 1 million soms for a period of up to one year.
According to Umetaliev, the program is scheduled to launch in February, and banks will soon begin submitting their applications.
