A working meeting on the Kazarman Hydroelectric Cascade Project took place at the Ministry of Energy

- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy, attended by the Minister of Energy T. Ibraev and representatives of JSC "Central Asian Investment Holding" (CAIH).

The delegation included Board Member Gezer Selchuk, Chairman of the Board Sur Mukhammet Haluk, and Deputy Chairman of the Board Tariel Ermeev, as well as other company staff.

During the discussion, the parties addressed issues related to the preparation of a preliminary feasibility study for the construction of the Kazarman Hydroelectric Cascade. The participants of the meeting reviewed the presented project presentation and discussed further steps for implementation and coordination of actions in accordance with the existing investment agreements.

Representatives of JSC "CAIH" also provided information on the current status of work and presented key approaches and achievements at the stage of preparing the feasibility study.

Additional information:

On August 2, 2025, an investment agreement was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and JSC "Central Asian Investment Holding" regarding the implementation of the Kazarman Hydroelectric Cascade construction project.

This investment project includes the construction and operation of hydropower plants, as well as the design, construction, maintenance, and generation of electricity at the following facilities:


The total installed capacity of the cascade will be 912 MW.

The expected investment amount under the agreement is 3 billion dollars. The project will be implemented entirely at the investor's own expense, without state participation in financing.
