During 2025, the price of oil fell from $76 to less than $64. It is expected that in the first quarter of 2026, the price will be $59, and by the fourth quarter, it will drop to $53.
“We forecast a decline in oil prices in 2026 as global oil production will outpace demand, leading to an increase in inventories,” the report from the ministry notes.
