From January 1, the acceptance of applications for accreditation of bodies for conformity assessment in the field of technical inspection has been suspended.

- From January 1, 2026, due to the introduction of temporary legal regulation, the acceptance of applications for the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in the field of vehicle technical inspection, as well as for the issuance of certificates of vehicle design safety, has been suspended. This information was announced by the Kyrgyz Accreditation Center.

This decision was made to implement the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated December 31, 2025, No. 388, which concerns urgent measures to improve the organization of vehicle technical inspections.

The suspension of application acceptance applies to the following areas:

initial accreditation;

expansion of the scope of accreditation;

confirmation of the locations of CAB activities during their relocation.
