Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan Discussed Strengthening Trade and Economic Cooperation

- On January 20, in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Mederbek Tumanov, met with Babaniyaz Yalakov, who is the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, according to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

During the meeting, issues related to the further implementation of previously reached agreements were discussed. Special attention was given to the execution of the Protocol of the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, as well as to increasing the volumes of mutual trade and developing transport and logistics routes.

As a result of the discussions, subsequent steps were identified to deepen bilateral cooperation, including coordinating actions at the platforms of international organizations.
