In Bishkek, a drunk driver carried a patrol officer on the hood of the car.
On January 19, around 6:00 PM, a man was driving a Toyota Estima while in a state of alcoholic intoxication and without a driver's license.
When inspectors from the Bishkek City Traffic Police demanded that he stop, he ignored their request and drove with one of the patrol officers on the hood for over 50 meters.
This incident was registered in the automated information system of the Department of Internal Affairs.
After his detention, the offender, identified as T. I., born in 1986, was taken to the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs. A protocol was drawn up against him for petty hooliganism under Article 126 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, and he was placed in a temporary detention cell.
Law enforcement agencies remind drivers of the necessity to strictly adhere to traffic rules and police requirements.
Such actions as resistance and posing a threat to the lives of officers are unacceptable and may lead to legal responsibility.
