The completion of the construction of the "Kulanak" hydroelectric power station is expected in the 3rd quarter of 2027.
This hydropower plant will have a capacity of 100 megawatts. Among the executors are the Ministry of Energy and the LLC "Production Enterprise Naryn".
The hydropower plant will be located at the confluence of the At-Bashy and Naryn rivers and will be a diversion station.
The government's plans also include the construction of the Kulanak-2 hydropower plant, which will have a capacity of 68.8 MW, with completion expected by the end of 2030.
