Deputy Director of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the EEC Appointed Almaz Abdekirov

Almaz Tynchtykbekovich Abdekirov has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Department of Macroeconomic Policy at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), according to information provided by the commission itself.

Abdekirov was born in 1986. In 2008, he graduated from the Kyrgyz National University with a degree in "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science," and in 2023, he obtained a master's degree from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, where he studied economics.
His professional career began in 2008 when he became an intern at the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and by the end of 2025, he reached the position of head of the macroeconomic policy department of this ministry.

He will officially assume the duties of Deputy Director of the mentioned department at the EEC on January 12, 2026.
