Kyrgyzstan and Turkey will strengthen efforts to attract investments and develop trade
On January 14, a meeting took place in Bishkek between Meler Abakirov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, and the Turkish Ambassador to the country, Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, key aspects of Kyrgyz-Turkish partnership in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields were discussed. Plans for high-profile visits throughout the year were also outlined.
Discussing the issue of economic cooperation, Turkish Ambassador Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem emphasized that Turkish companies are interested in investing in Kyrgyzstan. As a result, an agreement was reached on joint work in this area.
