In Pakistan, the Days of Kyrgyz Culture were discussed

On January 13, 2026, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Kylchbek Sultan, met with Aurangzeb Khan Hichi, the federal minister of Pakistan responsible for national heritage and culture. This information was provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, with particular attention to the organization of the Cultural Days of the Kyrgyz Republic in Pakistan.

As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed to establish a joint working group that will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and implementation of this event. There was also an expressed intention to develop a program of joint cultural initiatives, including the celebration of Nowruz.

The participants of the meeting noted that the implementation of the Cultural Days will be a significant step towards strengthening friendly ties between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan. It will also contribute to further cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the countries.
