On January 16 and 17, Kyrgyzstan is expected to experience sharp changes in weather conditions. Snowfall is anticipated, with intense precipitation in some areas. There may be wet snow accumulation on wires and trees, as well as fog formation. Snow drifts and icy conditions will form on the roads, especially in mountainous regions where snow drifts are expected.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, winds in the western regions will intensify, reaching speeds of 15-20 m/s.
From January 17 to 19, a significant drop in temperature is forecasted. In the Chui and Talas valleys, nighttime temperatures will drop to -9…-14°, while daytime temperatures will range from -1…-6°. In the foothills, nighttime temperatures will be -11…-16°, and during the day, -2…-7°. In the Issyk-Kul basin, nighttime temperatures are expected to be -7…-12° below zero, and during the day, up to -4° below zero to +1° above zero.
