The deputy called for a review of electricity limits taking into account the climate of the regions.

- At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 14, 2026, Deputy Nurlanbek Azygaliev made a request to reconsider the existing electricity capacity limits for citizens.

According to the parliamentarian, the unified limit of 3 kW, established during peak hours of the heating season 2025-2026, does not meet the needs of many regions. This problem is particularly acute in mountainous and cold areas.

“For example, in Suusamyr, this volume is completely insufficient. It is necessary to take into account the climatic features of each specific region,” Azygaliev noted.

He added that the same requirements for the capital and remote mountain villages are unfair and create significant difficulties for residents, especially in conditions of severe frost.

The deputy called for the need to address this issue and proposed to introduce differentiated limits that would take into account the geographical and climatic differences of the territories.
