Increased Electricity Consumption Limits for Naryn Region

- In response to the appeals of citizens in the Naryn region, who live in high-altitude and climatically challenging conditions, the Ministry of Energy has announced an increase in the electricity consumption limit during peak hours. This decision was announced by the press service of the ministry.

The previously established limit has been raised from 189,648 kWh to 264,312 kWh, which will allow for a greater supply of electricity and stabilize the energy supply in the region.

This measure is aimed at maintaining the stable operation of the energy system of the Kyrgyz Republic during peak loads.

Additionally, according to the ministry, the authorized representative of the president in the Naryn region, together with state administrations, territorial bodies, the Ministry of Energy, and the Open Joint-Stock Company "Kyrgyzkomur," is conducting systematic work to provide coal to the population of the region.

At the same time, in cooperation with antimonopoly authorities, raids have been organized to prevent unjustified price increases for coal. According to the results of inspections, no instances of price gouging were found.

Currently, the price of coal in the Naryn region does not exceed 5,500 soms, and the total stock of solid fuel is over 3,000 tons, of which about 1,500 tons is located at the social fuel bases of the Open Joint-Stock Company "Kyrgyzkomur."
