During the meeting, it was noted that at the end of 2025, there were 15,043 cases of ARVI and influenza registered. In the first week of 2026, the number of cases decreased to 9,490, and from January 5 to 8, 2026, it amounted to 6,745. Overall, the epidemiological situation remains stable, and monitoring of the situation is conducted daily in all regions.

According to the heads of children's hospitals and health coordinators, hospital visits are within the long-term norms. However, it has been observed that some visits are going directly to hospitals, bypassing the primary care level, despite the availability of duty shifts and patient receptions at Family Medicine Centers on weekends and holidays.

Minister Dosmambetov emphasized the need to improve the sorting and routing of patients in Family Medicine Centers for optimal distribution of the flow of visits.

An important topic of the meeting was the measures for prevention and informing citizens. The Minister stressed the need to enhance sanitary-educational work and cooperation with the media to clarify the routes for seeking care and preventive measures against seasonal infections.

"The situation in the country is stable, but it requires organized actions at all levels. We must improve sorting and routing at the primary level, continue preventive measures, and actively inform the population through mass media to reduce the number of unjustified visits to hospitals and strengthen the system as a whole," noted Kanaybek Dosmambetov.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to continue daily monitoring and operational coordination with the regions to maintain the resilience of the healthcare system during the seasonal morbidity period.
