Kazakhstan Residents Are Being Stripped of Their Driver's Licenses Due to Health Issues
According to information from Orda.kz, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have checked 370 thousand people on dispensary registration.
As experts found out, 273,819 people have never had a driver's license, 41,677 citizens have already been deprived of their driver's licenses, and more than 54 thousand can still operate vehicles.
As a result, 4,500 lawsuits have been sent to the courts. As of December 2025, licenses have been revoked for 1,787 people.
“These citizens were not allowed to operate a vehicle due to medical contraindications.”
Now, information about citizens of Kazakhstan who are registered with psychiatric and narcological accounts is transmitted between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in automatic mode and in real-time.
