From March 30, 2026, Kyrgyzstan will launch its annual financial literacy campaign called "Global Money Week 2026."
According to the National Bank, the event will be held under the slogan "Smart Money – Prosperity at Home." This motto reflects the importance of a comprehensive approach to financial literacy, including training on expense management, investing, fraud protection, and finding reliable information about financial instruments.
From March 30 to April 3, various regions of the country will host open lessons, seminars, lectures, open house days, bank tours, as well as interactive games, contests, and quizzes, with the support of government agencies, commercial banks, financial companies, and educational institutions.
Participants in the events will learn about financial security, develop financial management skills, and learn to make informed financial decisions.
The event schedule can be found on the official website of the National Bank www.nbkr.kg and on the website www.finsabat.kg.
For reference: Global Money Week (GMW) is an international campaign held since 2012 in 176 countries, aimed at providing quality financial education to children and youth. The goal of the campaign is to ensure access to financial information, enabling young people to make more informed financial decisions and improve their financial well-being.
In Kyrgyzstan, this week has been held since 2015 under the coordination of the National Bank.
