
Against the backdrop of a general decline in the exchange rates of most currencies against the som, the Russian ruble has ended its two-day positive trend, decreasing by more than 1 percent. At the same time, the euro and the Chinese yuan also lost value. The US dollar, on the contrary, slightly strengthened, reaching its March maximum, while the Kazakh tenge remained at its previous positions. These changes have been recorded by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in Bishkek.
US Dollar:
- The official rate of the NB KR is 87.45 soms (an increase of 0.0009 percent).
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 87.36 soms, selling — 87.79 soms.
Euro:
- The official rate from the NB KR: 101.0835 soms (a decrease of 0.37 percent).
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 100.48 soms, selling — 101.47 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 1.0712 soms (a decrease of 1.04 percent).
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 1.062 soms, selling — 1.096 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 0.1815 soms (no change).
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 0.1596 soms, selling — 0.1903 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 12.6684 soms (a decrease of 0.07 percent).
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 12.6 soms, selling — 12.9 soms.
