
At the 53rd meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the EAEU countries, the Chairman of the State Customs Service, Almaz Saliev, announced new initiatives.
According to his statements, as a result of discussions, 22 decisions were made aimed at improving transparency and simplifying customs processes, as well as supporting legal businesses.
“In particular, these decisions concern the exchange of information, as well as the provision of data on transit and accompanying documents. A decision was also made to share experiences on risk unification,” he noted.
Saliev added that the experience of controlling temporarily imported vehicles was reviewed, and agreements were reached on mutual exchange of experience in the field of information systems, their updates, and the transition to electronic declaration,” he emphasized.
