Today, the 53rd meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union is taking place at the "Ala-Archa" residence. The event is attended by leaders and representatives of the customs authorities of all EAEU countries.
During the meeting, discussions are planned on the implementation of previously adopted decisions, as well as a number of current issues related to customs administration and control.
In addition, participants will review the practice of classifying various categories of goods within the framework of the EAEU Customs Tariff, making changes to customs declarations after their release, and issues related to amending and supplementing acts regulating the completion of transit declarations.
One of the key topics will be improving customs transit, developing new approaches to organizing transportation, as well as strengthening control over the movement of goods and vehicles for personal use.
It is also planned to discuss interaction between customs services, technical support issues, and the implementation of modern digital solutions.
Additionally, initiatives to improve the regulatory framework, develop a risk management system, including the application of unified value indicators, as well as updating methodological recommendations in the field of customs expertise will be considered.
