According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, asphalt paving of the Arashan - Chunkurchak highway will begin in April.
On the section of the road from the 0th to the 22nd kilometer, work on widening and preparing the base has already been completed. The project is being implemented using state capital investments.
It should be noted that in 2025, culverts were installed and two bridges were reconstructed on this route.
The Arashan - Chunkurchak road is an important tourist route leading to a ski base and recreation areas. The Ministry of Transport emphasizes that the modernization of this route will significantly improve road safety and create more comfortable conditions for tourists.
