In the EAEU, AI and the "four freedoms" have been named priorities for 2026, - Danil Ibraev
Ibraev emphasized that artificial intelligence is currently a priority topic on the international stage, attracting trillions of dollars in investments. According to him, by 2025, the AI sector has already demonstrated significant economic impact and continues to be one of the most dynamically developing areas in the global economy, encompassing industrial, service, trade, and financial sectors.
He also noted the necessity for the member countries of the union not only to recognize this trend but also to actively develop AI technologies within the framework of integration initiatives.
Additionally, Ibraev highlighted another priority — the full implementation of the agreement on the "four freedoms" within the EAEU. This implies the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor, as well as the creation of efficient transport corridors.
He added that an important task remains to create conditions under which goods, after importation and clearance, could move freely in the markets of all five member countries of the union.
