According to the information from the department, in 2026, the republican budget has allocated 135 million soms for the purchase of veterinary drugs and biological agents. The full provision of necessary resources for carrying out the spring activities has been successfully completed.
As part of the approved plan, vaccination of heifers aged three to six months against brucellosis is being carried out on-site. In addition, blood samples are being taken from cattle for analysis for this disease. To protect domestic animals, vaccination of dogs and cats against rabies is also being conducted, and work on deworming against echinococcosis has already begun.
Sheep and goats are receiving vaccines against sheep pox and brucellosis, while cattle are vaccinated against sheep pox, anthrax, and emkar (emphysematous carbuncle). All vaccination costs are covered by the state budget.
In 2026, to maintain a stable epizootic situation in the republic, all territorial veterinary structures are fully supplied with biological preparations, antihelminthics, and disinfectants. Specialized refrigeration equipment has been installed for their proper storage.
The action plan for combating epizootics has been developed taking into account the livestock population and the epizootic situation in the regions, coordinated with local self-government bodies, and approved in the established manner.
