According to the agency's information, Chui region remains the leader in milk production, accounting for 26.3% of the total volume. It is followed by Jalal-Abad region with 20.7% and Osh region with 19%. On average across the country, the milk yield per cow was 2114 kg; however, in Chui region, this figure is significantly higher at 3203 kg. The high results in the capital are explained by the administrative-territorial reform (ATR), during which six rural municipalities from the Alamudun district and two from the Sokuluk district were annexed to Bishkek. It is in these new territories that the highest productivity is observed.
As for egg production, Chui region again holds a dominant position, accounting for 63.5% of the total volume. Osh region accounts for 9.5%, Jalal-Abad region for 8.9%, and Issyk-Kul region for 4.3%. In the remaining regions, the share does not exceed 3%.
