- At a press conference, the Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee, Bakytbek Shokenov, reported that in January and February 2026, Kyrgyzstan's GDP reached 264 billion soms.

The growth of this indicator is attributed to an increase in volumes in the sectors of commodity production and services, as well as a rise in tax revenues on products.

Structural analysis showed that the largest share of GDP—50%—was accounted for by the service sector. The industrial sector made up 25%, while tax revenues on products accounted for 19%. Agriculture and construction constituted 4% and 3%, respectively.
