At a briefing, the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Choro Seyitov, stated that the construction of a railway connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, along with the modernization of major highways, will make the country an important transit hub between Europe and Southeast Asia.

Seyitov emphasized that the implementation of this project will significantly improve internal logistics and provide substantial revenue from international transit.

The creation of a developed warehousing infrastructure will play a key role in this process. The republic plans to open many trade and logistics centers (TLCs), wholesale distribution centers (WDCs), and large bonded warehouses.

In particular, in the Jalal-Abad region, where major transport routes intersect, a modern loading and unloading station will be built. Work in this direction is already actively being carried out by "Kyrgyzpost." Choro Seyitov highlighted speed as the main competitive advantage of the route through Kyrgyzstan.
“Transportation of goods through our country is much faster than on other routes. The railway will significantly accelerate transportation, which is extremely important for logistics companies,” he added.

Attracting transit flows will create a multiplicative effect for the economy, ranging from VAT revenues from imports to income for small businesses related to transport services (fuel sales, catering, and parking).

In the future, Kyrgyzstan's logistics hub will be integrated into the global network. Plans include connecting the country with major ports such as Karachi in Pakistan, as well as ports in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, and Europe (from Amsterdam to Riga and Novorossiysk). This will ensure effective transit management and allow domestic products to be distributed worldwide.
