The specialist noted that grains and sugar beets play a leading role in the strategic food reserves, which is critical for the country's food security. At the same time, the most profitable crops today are raspberries, strawberries, and corn.
Farmers choosing these directions are recommended to use drip and sprinkler irrigation. The state provides subsidies for the implementation of effective irrigation methods, as well as preferential loans with low interest rates.
Monitoring of the agricultural sector has shown that as the livestock population in the country increases, so does the area of sown fodder crops, such as barley and corn.
Idrisov also emphasized the importance of preparing for spring fieldwork, noting that it is necessary to:
- conduct a soil composition analysis;
- apply mineral fertilizers within permissible norms;
- check the purity of seeds;
- conduct an examination to assess the feasibility of sowing a specific crop.
Specialists from the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture remind that the future harvest directly depends on the quality of soil preparation and the seed fund.
