Over 5 years, 141 tons of gold were mined in Kyrgyzstan

Over the past five years, the mining industry of Kyrgyzstan has contributed 217.9 billion soms to the state budget in the form of taxes and fees. Asel Rayymkulova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, announced this information at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.
She noted that in 2025, tax revenues reached a record level of 65.4 billion soms.

From 2021 to 2025, the country mined 141 tons of gold, and the annual production volume increased to 26 tons.

It is also worth noting that approximately 4 million tons of coal are produced annually in Kyrgyzstan.
