The company's profit increased against the backdrop of intensified geological exploration
In 2025, the state enterprise "Kyrgyzgeology" reported a revenue of 339 million soms. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Asel Raimkulova announced this information at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of agricultural policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection.
According to Raimkulova, during the specified period, the company's expenses amounted to 210 million soms, while the net profit was 116 million soms.
She also emphasized that "Kyrgyzgeology" is a key state operator in the field of geological exploration and in expanding the country's mineral resource base.
As part of strengthening the material and technical base of the company, 1 billion soms were allocated from the state budget in 2024-2025. These funds allowed for the purchase of more than 50 units of modern geological equipment, which contributed to an increase in the volume of geological exploration activities.
As a result of the work carried out in 2025 on licensed areas, forecast resources for several promising deposits were identified, and corresponding reports were prepared to include new data in the state balance.
The deputy minister noted that by the end of 2026, a number of significant initiatives in the field of geology and subsoil use are planned. The main directions include expanding geological research, identifying new promising areas, and assessing forecast resources.
In addition, plans include continuing the digitization of geological data, implementing modern research methods, enhancing the qualifications of specialists, and expanding cooperation with international partners.
