In Kyrgyzstan, 22 priority critical minerals have been identified

To support the critical minerals sector in Kyrgyzstan, a state program has been developed, which identifies 22 critically important minerals. Asel Rayimkulova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, shared this information at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.

During her speech, she also presented data on licenses in the field of subsoil use. "In 2025, 320 licenses were revoked. Currently, there are 2014 active licenses in the country. Of these, 204 pertain to gold mining, 43 to metals, 46 to oil and gas, 367 to coal, 703 to groundwater, and 651 to non-metallic raw materials," she added.
