In December, the water flow in most rivers of Kyrgyzstan was at normal levels, reaching 195% in certain areas - statistics
In certain areas, including Alamedin, Sokuluk, Chon-Kayindy, Shamsi, Uzun-Akmad, and Ak-Buurin, as well as in the vicinity of Lake Issyk-Kul, the water flow level ranged from 122% to 195% of the norm.
In contrast, low flow levels were observed in the rivers Ak-Sai, Ak-Suu (Chon-Aryk), Tar, Yassy, Kara-Kuldja, Padysh-Ata, Tentek-Sai, Kogart, Mayluu-Suu, Aravan-Sai (Zhany-Nookat), Isfayram-Sai, and Shahimardan, ranging from 28% to 79% of the norm.
The average water discharge level in the Toktogul Reservoir for December was 118% of the norm, in the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir — 117%, and in the Kirov Reservoir — 103%.
