According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the specified period, 2998 samples of plant products were submitted for examination. Of these, 2073 samples were selected from imported goods, 699 samples belonged to export batches, and the remaining samples were obtained as part of planned inspections and individual requests.
Specialists conducted extensive research, performing a total of 6997 analyses. The results showed that no quarantine harmful organisms were detected in the tested samples, confirming that the products meet high phytosanitary standards.
Laboratory testing is an integral part of control and includes checks for the presence of dangerous pests, plant diseases, weeds, and nematodes. Based on the results of the analyses, producers receive official certificates regarding the phytosanitary condition. Laboratory specialists are also ready to provide consultations on plant protection methods and weed control. The agency emphasizes that ensuring high product quality is the key to successful exports and reliable import control.
