At the farmer's market in Bazar-Korgon, meat is sold for 650 soms
In the Bazar-Korgon district of the Jalal-Abad region, a series of markets have been launched to assist local farmers and strengthen the region's food security. According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, these trading events take place every week on Mondays and Fridays.

At the markets, a variety of products can be found: from fresh vegetables and fruits to dairy products and other locally produced goods. An important aspect is the affordability of prices; for example, the cost of meat is 650 soms per kilogram. Thanks to direct sales, producers can operate without intermediaries, which benefits both farmers and buyers.

The organizers emphasize that such markets not only facilitate access for the population to quality products at reasonable prices but also contribute to the growth of agriculture and strengthen economic ties in the region.
