At the fair, the minister not only familiarized himself with the range of products but also analyzed the problems faced by local producers. While walking through the trading rows, he paid special attention to beekeepers, inquiring about their readiness to export honey to European Union countries, which is now officially available for Kyrgyzstan.

During a conversation with a farmer from Batken, who brought dried fruits at reasonable prices, Torobaev discussed issues of deep processing and the necessary conditions for producing natural pastila in remote regions.

The price of meat products did not go unnoticed either: at the fair, beef and lamb were sold at prices ranging from 600 to 680 soms per kilogram. In an interview with journalists, the minister emphasized that such events are an important tool for stabilizing the domestic market.

According to Torobaev, "fairs create a direct link between the producer and the consumer, eliminating intermediaries and unnecessary markups, which helps to curb price increases."

He also clarified the concept of the fair, noting that it is not an ordinary market. "Here, the buyer receives the product at the producer's price, which includes only the cost of production and logistics. We provide farmers the opportunity to earn, and buyers the chance to save," he added.

During the visit, the minister conducted a video call with regions to learn how similar events are held in other parts of the country. Based on the information received, clear instructions were given to the heads of territorial subdivisions to ensure price stability, improve conditions at the venues, and create a comfortable environment for residents.

Torobaev noted that the availability of meat will not be limited to fairs alone. He announced the launch of mobile meat shops and the opening of a specialized store in Naryn. The ministry also plans to allocate additional land for feed bases to develop meat sheep farming.

Support for domestic producers and monitoring prices for socially significant goods will remain a priority for the Ministry of Agriculture. As Torobaev noted, only through direct dialogue with farmers and eliminating unnecessary links in trade can quality and affordable products be ensured for the people of Kyrgyzstan.
