
During the meeting, a comprehensive assessment of the ministry's work was conducted. The minister noted both positive achievements and shortcomings in the work of some district departments, emphasizing the importance of executive discipline and support for farmers. Key issues were discussed regarding preparations for spring fieldwork, the availability of fuel and lubricants, and loans for the population, as well as regulating prices for meat products.
Technological innovations became one of the main topics of discussion. Turat Idirisov, head of the Crop Production Department, reported that the ministry is focusing on "smart" technologies such as vertical farms, drip irrigation, and drones for monitoring field conditions. These innovations could increase yields by 25-35%. The ministry plans to open modernized laboratories in Balykchy and Jalal-Abad by 2026, as well as create state nurseries for scientific research. By 2028, it is expected to increase the production of certified grain seeds by 30%, reaching 37,100 tons.
Cooperation also plays an important role in the ministry's strategic plans. Over the next two years, it is planned to provide agricultural cooperatives with equipment to cultivate about 2,000 hectares of land, which will create more than 120 new jobs. The main goal of the ministry is to implement drought-resistant varieties and environmentally sustainable production methods aimed at minimizing negative impacts on the environment.
The event concluded with an award ceremony. For their significant contribution to the development of the agricultural sector, several employees of the ministry received well-deserved awards. Emil kyzy Mayram was awarded the honorary badge "Honored Worker," Nurbolot Ermatov received a certificate of honor, and Svetlana Sharshieva and Nurgyz Omuralieva were awarded personalized wristwatches. In addition, letters of appreciation were presented to specialists from the departments of international cooperation, legal support, and animal husbandry: Aizirek Baktybekova, Altynai Kaldarbekova, Nuraiym Beknazarova, Alina Dumanaeva, and Yryskeldi Altynbekov. Erlis Akunbekov noted that recognizing the achievements of professionals is a significant step in supporting civil servants whose work contributes to the country's food security.
