The most significant price increase was observed in fresh fruits, which rose by 43.3%. Prices for vegetable oils also increased by 19.1%, fish by 17.1%, meat by 14%, natural instant coffee by 13.9%, fresh vegetables by 10.7%, potatoes by 9.5%, tea by 6.8%, bread by 5.4%, flour by 4.8%, and long-grain rice by 4.2%.
At the same time, some products saw a decrease in prices. Medium-grain rice became cheaper by 3.9%, chicken eggs by 1.7%, and beef fat by 1.6%.
According to statistical data, in January 2026, compared to December 2025, prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products overall increased by 0.8%.
Year-on-year, compared to January 2025, alcoholic beverages rose by 7.7%, while tobacco products increased by 8.8%.
